For over 40 years, Care Bears have been an iconic part of American pop culture. Originally conceived by Elena Kucharik as paintings for American Greetings, these lovable bears quickly captured the hearts of millions worldwide as plush teddy bears, television series characters, and animated film stars.

My task was to further showcase the brand for the feature article by emphasizing the vibrant Care Bears world of kindness.

Inspiration

The Care Bears dwell in a vividly colorful world, which manifests in Cloudco Entertainment's location-based experiences. Aiding the brand's aim to expand the franchise through licensed partnerships, I designed the article spreads to pop as readers flipped through this issue of InPark Magazine and even give Grumpy Bear himself a moment of pause!

Ranging from Bedtime Bear blue to Cheer Bear pink, using the color spectrum of over more than 50 Care Bear colors was a definitive must for this layout.
